HR Manager

  • Assists with the conceptualization of HR strategy
  • Operationalizes both the required and enabling human resource management strategies in support of the wider company regional business strategy
  • Determines and defends the configuration and related arrangements through which human resource management solutions will be delivered within the company
  • Manages and ensures the execution of the supportive human resources management components of workforce planning and development, human resources administration and employee welfare, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, industrial relations, organizational development and the management of change
  • Ensures the presence and relevance of corporate human resource management policies, procedures and practices and provides policy implementation, guidance, assistance and advice as and when required
  • Directs the execution of pre-determined human resource management initiatives by providing the appropriate oversight, leadership and direction to subordinate staff and leads initiatives which would create a continuously evolving and relevant organization generally and an appropriate and effective human resource management presence especially.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization’s workflow and processes
  • Keeps abreast of industry developments and best practices
  • Develops and maintain excellent relationships with other organizations ensuring that the company is well received and presented professionally and positively
Organizational Development
  • Develops and monitors an annual budget that includes Human Resources services, training and employee recognition
  • Establishes and leads the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce
  • Manages employee communication and feedback through such avenues as company meetings, suggestion programs, employee satisfaction surveys, newsletters, employee focus groups, one on one meetings, and Intranet use

Training and Performance Management
  • Leads the implementation of the performance management system that includes performance development plans and employee development programs
  • Researches and selects or develops training programs relevant to strategic skills gaps and performance improvement plans as well as new employee orientation or on-boarding and management development
Compensation and Benefits
  • Administers the company wage and salary structure, pay policies, and oversees the variable pay systems within the company including bonuses and raises
  • Recommends changes in benefits offered, especially new benefits aimed at employee satisfaction and retention

  • Develops and maintains completed Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans including periodic plan testing

Job Requirements

Requirements -
