The Coosal’s name has been an active ingredient in quality construction products and services in Trinidad & Tobago for over 60 years. What currently exists as a group of companies started off as a relatively small determined supplier of high quality quarry products, trading as Coosal’s Quarry & Transport.

In 1978 our foresight and tenacity provided the impetus for us to diversify and expand our core business activities and improve our offering. The offspring of these efforts was the Coosal’s Asphalt Paving Company Limited which was later, amalgamated with Coosal’s Quarry & Transport to form the Coosal’s Construction Company Limited in 1989. Following further diversification and stronger synergistic integration measures, we have expanded to include a growing range of premium quality concrete masonry products along with ready-mixed concrete as part of our offering. Both these segments, though new, have been enjoying considerable success and growth in light of headstrong and established competitors.
In all areas of business, we focus intently on quality delivered with friendly and reliable service. We believe in building lasting mutually beneficial relationships by maximizing customer satisfaction and promoting both open internal and external communications.
The current activities of the Group may be conveniently classified into the following main divisions:

• Quarry Operations Mining and production of limestone products.
• Sand & Gravel Mining & Processing Operations
• General Civil Engineering & Contracting; Asphalt Production.
• Ready-mixed concrete Operations – Batching, delivery and pumping
• Concrete masonry units (concrete blocks and pavers) Manufacture

Administration
The company’s activities are controlled from our corporate headquarters located at 31-45 Coosals Boulevard Madras Settlement Road Chin Chin, Cunupia, in Trinidad. The head office is considered the central hub to all our business activities. It houses our marketing, accounting, human resources and purchasing functions. Communication to all divisions is also controlled from our corporate headquarters via a radio system that networks all employees across all locations on the island. Top management is also nestled at the head office and from here, directives are issued to the de-centralized plant and quarry managers as necessary.
Transport and General Fleet Maintenance
Our fully functional quarry and transport garages are well equipped and capable of servicing all fleet vehicles and performing repairs and maintenance works on any of the plants should they require it. All repair and servicing works are carried out in-house by highly trained and competent staff members. Their function ensures that at all times, all units are fully functional and tuned to optimise performance and minimize damage to either personnel or environment.
