Position: Business Support Assistant 

Department: Enterprise Risk Management

Period: Three (3) Months
 
 
The Risk Assistant will:
  1. Gather and collate relevant data and information related to potential risks as guided
  2. Maintain  and  organize  departmental  documentation,  including  risk  registers,  policies, procedures, reports, and correspondence. Ensure all risk-related documents are accurate, up-to- date, and easily accessible for reference and audit purposes
  3. Collaborate with other departments or teams to gather updates on risk mitigation actions and controls
  4. Communicate risk-related information to internal stakeholders, such as senior management, department heads, and employees as directed.
  5. Coordinate meetings, appointments for the risk management team, inclusive of meeting/training material and all logistical arrangements.
  6. Support  the  preparation  and  distribution  of  risk  assessment materials,  including  forms, templates, surveys, and data collection tools.
  7. Organize and compile risk assessment results and supporting documentation for management review and decision-making.
  8. Ensure accurate and timely upkeep of risk management systems or databases, including managing and maintaining risk data, conducting validation, integrity checks, and ensuring data quality.
  9. Assist in generating and formatting reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  10. Provide administrative support to the Department and assist in coordinating risk projects as necessary.
  11. Attend meetings as required.
 
 
Minimum qualifications and experience:
  • Diploma or Associate Degree in Business Administration/Management or any related discipline.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Computer Literacy and Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal, time management skills and communication skills.
  • An equivalent experience will be considered.
