Job Title: Materials Assistant- Warehouse

Company Profile:
Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) manages a major fuel-efficient power plant in Trinidad and Tobago. The 720-megawatt (MW) TGU facility is a combined-cycle power plant which is owned by the National Investment Fund (NIF), the latter is a wholly owned entity of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago (GoRTT). The plant is located at the Union Industrial Estate, La Brea and supported by a Corporate Office in Chaguanas.

Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) invites suitably qualified persons to apply for the following contract position: 

Job Purpose:
This position will support the materials function by analysing inventory, supervising stock counts, receipt, storage and issue of spares and consumables as well as maintaining the security and safety of the warehouses and their contents. The job holder must demonstrate high performance attitude and behaviours in the performance of duties to ensure all key performance indicators are achieved.

Location: Plant - La Brea

Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract - 2 years

Qualifications, Certifications and Experience: 

• Degree in Business Management or related field.
• Two (2) to five (5) years’ relevant experience in a Materials Management environment.
