Description


The Customer Service Representative for Laboratory Operations will be responsible for managing client relationships, preparing proposals, costings, and quotations, and responding to tenders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and be well-versed in Water Pollution Rules of the Environmental Management Authority (EMA).
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Client Engagement:
 
  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional service.
 
Proposal and Quotation Preparation:
 
  1. Develop detailed proposals and quotations tailored to client requirements.
  2. Accurately prepare costings for laboratory services, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
  3. Collaborate with technical staff to ensure proposals are technically sound and feasible.
 
Tender Responses:
 
  1. Analyse and respond to tenders, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines.
  2. Coordinate with relevant departments to gather necessary information for tender submissions.
  3. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the tendering process and industry best practices.
 
Regulatory Compliance:
 
  1. Stay updated on water pollution regulations and EMA guidelines.
  2. Ensure all proposals and operations comply with relevant environmental regulations.
  3. Provide clients with accurate information regarding regulatory requirements and compliance.
