Description

1. Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs ventilating and air conditioning equipment and systems for large units. (Commercial & Industrial).
2. Operates a variety of equipment as needed to perform work.
3. Installs, maintains and repairs computerized electronic pneumatic devices related to HVAC control.
4. Demonstrate and apply the knowledge of chill water systems.
5. Operates various measuring and testing instruments. e.g. multimeters, humidity testers, temperature recorders, mega testers, calipers etc.
6. Requisitions material from stockroom and controls storage of materials.
7. Maintains electronic/pneumatic testing equipment.
8. Reads blueprints, piping and wiring diagrams.
9. Performs brazing, soldering, pipefitting and welding.
10. Accurately complete job tickets and requisitions in a timely manner.

1. Training as evidenced by a valid certification in air conditioning maintenance from a recognised institution or equivalent combination of experience and training.
2. Possess all tools required under the Trainee Tools Schedule.
3. A minimum of one (1)- two (2) years’ experience in a similar role.
4. Detail oriented and possess the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.
5. Ability to work in a team.
