Summary of Responsibilities: 
 

The Service / After Sales Manager will handle day-to-day operations of  Service Centre, ensure customer satisfaction, provide effective leadership, meet the brand objectives, ensure high quality of service according to the brand standards.  
 
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop and deploy after sales strategies together with dealer management.
  • Do all planning and budgeting that is necessary to undertake the strategy
  • Set high, yet reachable targets for the workshop throughput, parts sale per workshop throughput.
  • Generate source of business: develop prospects and customers through the internet, floor traffic, events, targeted marketing efforts, networking affiliations and other appropriate sources
  • Strive to continuously improve the ability to perform as a Service Manager with further training in the brand’s products and services, market and after sales knowledge.
  • Observe market and competitors to adjust strategy if necessary
  • Identify customer needs and match those needs with products and/or service.
  • Develop and maintain a customer database and secure consistent use by all relevant people in the service department.  Use this customer database for generating new business.
  • Utilize provided tools such as networks,  website, service manual and others.
  • Work according to brand standards and ensure that the after sales team is working in accordance with the brand standards
  • Develop the after-sales team performance using the tools recommended, including the appropriate training activities.

Other Skills & Attributes
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Service Manager position
  • Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
  • Knowledge and experience in Marketing concepts, sales promotion, sale of parts and accessories
  • Effective communication skills
  • Good Reporting Skills
  • Deadline oriented
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Understanding of relevant computer programs and Microsoft Excel
  • Time Management

Qualifications/ Experience:
  • Degree Auto Mechanical /comparable Technical knowledge

  • 5 O ’level/CXC passes, including English language and Mathematics
