JOB SUMMARY:
 
To assist with the management of the maintenance, renovation, upkeep and utilization of the premises of the organization in meeting the demands of business growth and to provide a comfortable, secure and safe environment for customers and staff maintaining high standards of workmanship, equipment and cost control.
 
Key Duties:
 
  1. Assist Senior Manager with the planning, implementation and management of Premises maintenance and renovation projects under the current Business Plan through to satisfactory completion ensuring that Consultants and Contractors provide quality service.
  2. Assist Senior Manager with the development and implementation of the approved Annual Premises Business Plan and Capital Expenditure Budget.
  3. Negotiate and monitor Building Maintenance and Service Contracts.
  4. Assist with management of activities of Premises Department; train and develop staff and complete staff performance management reports.
  5. Assist Senior Manager Premises with the review, prioritization, planning and implementation of new requests for premises works.  
     
Education and Experience:
  • Five (5) years’ experience in the Construction Industry.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, codes and practice.
  • Through knowledge of space planning, security and safety requirements. Leadership, Management and interpersonal skills.
