The Food Truck Manager is responsible for managing the food service operations on the food truck, ensuring that all employees follow in-house policies and procedures and conform to required food handling and safety standards and regulations

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan for and purchase food and other supplies for daily the daily operations of the food trucks
  • Oversee the daily operations of the food truck and especially the kitchen and food service
  • Manage food truck employees, ensuring that proper sanitation and procedures are maintained
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, food items
  • Effective cash management
  • Assist in menu planning and serving of food as required
  • Ensure memorable customer experience
  • Hiring, recruiting and training employees, ensuring staff adherence to policies and procedures
  • Direct and oversee the cleaning schedule of the food truck
  • Maintaining employee records, scheduling of staff
  • Assist Chef and Sous Chef as needed

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
  • Culinary qualifications desirable but not mandatory
  • 5 years experience in the food industry
  • 3 years experience managing food service operations
  • Knowledge of food safety and food preparation
  • Flexibility and ability to maintain a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and trustworthy, with a passion for customer service

The Manager will be required to work 6 days per week, 8 hour shifts.
Opening hours of the food truck:
Monday-Thursday11:00am-10:00pm
Friday-Saturday11:00am-11:00pm
Sunday4:00pm-10:00pm (subject to change)
