Description


The Event Coordinator will be required to: 
 
  • Identify client’s requirements for an event.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via phone and email. 
  • Co-ordinate site surveys as necessary with the technical department and the client.
  • Co-ordinate all details of the event, including book venues, entertainers, photographers and contractors.
  • Correctly log event details in the company’s diary.
  • Effectively communicate with the Technical Department to ensure proper equipment allocation and availability for an event. 
  • Prepare event proposals and quotations in accordance with deadlines.
  • Assist in the scheduling of technicians for an event.
  • Prepare all necessary documents for an event i.e. Client Work Orders and Rental Forms.
  • Complete customer feedback forms. 
  • Follow through with clients via phone call and email.  
 
QUALIFICATIONS  
  • Bachelor’s degree Event Management 
  • Certificate in Hospitality Management, Public Relations or any relevant field is preferred 
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar capacity. 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLLS AND ABILITIES: 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements.
  • Knowledge of Audio/ Visual Equipment 
  • Knowledge of Venues in Trinidad and Tobago 
  • Contacts in the Entertainment Industry
