Purpose & Objective
Coordination of all training activities of the Plant Personnel. Ensure all employees have a development program updated and properly tracked (budget, time and quality). Ensure transfer of knowledge for all employees is at the level required due to technological updates at the Plant.
 
CORE DUTIES:

DESIGN A COMPREHENSIVE TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR THE COMPANY’S PLANT COLLABORATORS

•   Technical training program according to specialty, by requesting from every department head the training needs
•   Create a Catalog of internal and external trainers
•   Prepare Plant training budget
•   Align the results of the training to the performance evaluation system
•   Publish a Training Master Plan for collaborators
 
ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN AND EFFECTIVE TRAINING ROOM, HARDWARE, SOFTWARE AND RELATED DEVICES

•    Design and make recommendations for the creation of the training facility
•    Identify the material resources needed to fulfill training needs
•    Create an investment budget to build the training department
•    Create an operational budget for Training Activities
•    Define procedures and policies for the usage of training resources
 
CREATE AND SUSTAIN ACADEMIC STANDARDS

•    Design media standards for technical documentation, presentations and other training resources
•    Design a Train the Trainer program to ensure quality of training
•    Establish standard operating procedures to ensure training portions for every OEM visitor
•    Use E-learning methodology to ensure continuous learning process
 
MANAGE AND CONTROL OF TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION AT THE PLANT

•     Design an electronic resource to ensure safe storage of technical documentation and training resources
•     Use modern informatic tools such as SharePoint and others to provide with technical documentation to trainees and other users
 
ENSURE THE AVAILABILITY OF A MASTER CALENDAR FOR ALL TRAINING
ACTIVITIES IN ALL AREAS

•    Prepare and circulate the training calendar to all Plant Personnel
 
Education / Qualifications:

•    BSc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
•    A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role educating adult students
•    Knowledge or potential to learn about modern tools from MS Office or similar
•    Understanding of statistics to present or interpret data for decision making (pareto charts, etc.)
