General Manager – Janitorial Company

We are seeking a General manager for our 100 plus employee commercial Janitorial company.  The company headquarters is located in the Port of Spain area but we serve clients throughout Trinidad and Tobago.

Duties:
  • Provide leadership, direction and management oversight for continuous improvement of the standard operating model within our customers’ facilities.
  • Provide staff leadership and makes sound business decisions in support of our family owned Company’s mission and vision. Demonstrates leadership by providing an optimal environment for safety, service, and value.
  • Be the pivotal role in securing tenders while maging at a high level, the day to day operations of our company’s staff. Ensures that supplies and customer relations are at a consistently high level of cleanliness and aesthetics for our customer’s facilities.
Experience:
  • Atleast  4 years of Financial and Management experience and hopefully some parallel industry experience to facility maintenance or commercial janitorial management.
Qualifications:
  • A Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar degree
  • Masters will be an asset
  • Working knowledge of Financial Management and Budgeting 
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and standards
  • Working knowledge of custodial duties, training, and chemical handling
