Description

• Define the architecture and build the Data Lake, Data Warehouse for various aspects of the Financial services business such as Mobile apps, Core platforms, Remittance systems and Internal stakeholders
• Build a Business Intelligence strategy and function to deliver accelerated growth across the business areas
• Create and manage business reports and dashboards to streamline and improve the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability

• Identifying, designing and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.
• Building the BI and analytics strategic and roadmap planning, Improving business capability and BI technical capability
• Building the reporting of financial modelling that provides a single set of reports available in real time
• Maintaining data standards, analytical methodologies including econometric modelling, predictive modelling, segmentation, reporting, customer analytics and descriptive statistics
• Building an influential relationship with the Product team to optimise with funnel conversion rates, product uptake, and results of experiments
• Leading the team to iteratively improve data capability and data architecture to support the BI mission

• Bachelors and/or Master’s degree in data engineering, big data analytics, computer engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree in data engineering, big data analytics, computer engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years’ proven experience as a data engineer, software developer, or similar
• Must be based in St. Lucia

• SQL, Amazon RDS/Redshift, Google Big Query etc.
• Experience working with Cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure and Google
• Experienced in working on visualization software such as Tableau or Microstrategy
