Job Description:

Employer: Malabar Farms Food Service Ltd

Position: Warehouse Attendant-Freezer/Chiller/Dry

Location: Arima

Terms: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:                                          

• Unpack goods received at MFFS and secure in the freezer/chiller in accordance with Warehouse Goods Placement practices.
• Ensure that the correct goods are pulled as per invoice.
• Ensure Fist In First Out (FIFO) rules are followed for rotating stock.
• Maintain product supply by checking shelves for appropriate inventory levels.
• Check stock for outdated or damaged supplies.
• Ensure all pertinent paperwork is completed properly, neatly and turned in daily.
• Maintain all areas of work space ensuring that environment is free from any signs of potential pest evidence or debris or damages.
• To operate forklifts in a safe manner.
• Assists in stock take exercise as requested.
• Any other related duties as required.

 Position Requirements:

1. Three (3) CSEC passes.
2. Two years’ work experience in a similar capacity.
3. Ability to read and write clearly.
4. Physically strong and able to do heavy lifting.
5. Can work in cold conditions.
6. A forklift Licence will be an asset.
7. Experience in using a panna tracker bar coding hand held scanner will be an asset.
