Position Title: Corporate Security Officer 

Location: Plant - La Brea & Corporate Office - Chaguanas

Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract - 2 years

Company Profile:
Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) manages a major fuel-efficient power plant in Trinidad and Tobago. The 720-megawatt (MW) TGU facility is a combined-cycle power plant which is owned by the National Investment Fund (NIF), the latter is a wholly owned entity of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago (GoRTT). The plant is located at the Union Industrial Estate, La Brea and supported by a Corporate Office in Chaguanas.

Job Purpose:
The Corporate Security Officer  oversees the development, supervision, and coordination of security standards across the organisation. The incumbent will be responsible for  conducting investigations and annual security reviews, as well as identifying security vulnerabilities and providing recommendations for improvements, while safeguarding confidentiality and supporting the company's operational security needs.


Qualifications, Certifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 O’ Level subjects or proof of continued professional development courses.
• Certification in Security Administration and Management.
• • At least 10 years overall experience in the Security environment.
