Job Description:

Job Title: Environmental Sanitation Officer
 
Job Purpose:
The Environmental Sanitation Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
 
Qualifications:

• 5 CXC passes including Maths and English.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sanitation and a supervisory role.
• Degree or certification in a related field is an asset.

 
Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Create and enforce outdoor sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with Company standards, food safety standards and health and safety requirements.
2. Establish and maintain sanitation schedules for areas like loading docks, parking lots, and storage spaces to prevent debris and unsanitary conditions.
3. Conduct regular inspections of outdoor areas, including waste storage, drainage, and surrounding grounds, to ensure they meet cleanliness and environmental standards
4. Train employees on proper sanitation practices, waste handling, and maintaining a sanitary environment.
