Job Title: SALES MANAGER
 
SUMMARY
 The incumbent will develop Trinidad Tissues Limited’s business with assigned Local Distributors to boost sales revenue, market share, and gross margin in line with the annual Business Plan. They will collaborate with Distributors and key clients to maximize business opportunities and manage contractual obligations. Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, and distribution, including at least 2 years in FMCG, with a strong drive to achieve targets. The position requires spending 50% of your time on the trade and meeting with customers.
 
KEY ACTIVITIES
  1. Achieve the sales objectives and gross margin in accordance with budget/plans.
  2. Ensure implementation of the established distributor development business plans with the Distributors and the Company’s Sales & Marketing Department.
  3. Plan trade activities for the channels and implement with the local Distributors.
  4. Calculate Advertising and Promotions (A&P) claims for local Distributors.
  5. Execute trade visits to highlight opportunities and audit of Distributor’s performance.
  6. Update Pricing Analysis Report from pricing gathered through trade visits and Distributor information.
  7. Provide each Distributor with the appropriate materials, plans and necessary support to achieve the established plans.
  8. Provide up-to-date market information to the Sales & Marketing Department for analysis and decision making, including market conditions, trends and competitor analysis.
  9. Provide support to marketing activities, such as development of consumer in-store promotions, coordinate and participate in customer promotional activities and events.
  10. Track and evaluate the Distributor’s performance on a monthly basis and drive improvements to ensure maximum performance.
  11. Identify distribution, sales and marketing needs and implement corrective measures as needed.
  12. Train and guide the Distributor Sales and Marketing Teams on the Company’s products when required.
