Job Summary:
The External Field Sales Team Lead is responsible for leading and managing the external sales team to achieve the company's sales objectives. This role involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies, coaching team members, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The Team Lead will also be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead, motivate, and manage the external sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss sales performance, strategies, and updates.
    • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to team members to enhance their sales skills and performance.
    • Develop and implement performance improvement plans for underperforming team members.
  2. Sales Strategy Development:
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve company sales goals.
    • Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to penetrate these markets.
    • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
  3. Sales Performance Monitoring:
    • Track and analyze sales team performance metrics, including sales volume, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
    • Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to senior management.
    • Use data-driven insights to adjust sales strategies and improve team performance.
  4. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers and business partners.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly.
    • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  5. Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers and sales leads.
    • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company and generate leads.
  6. Administrative and Operational Duties:
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and performance.
    • Manage the sales team's budget and resources effectively.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
