Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused
Hardware Salesperson to join our showroom team. The role involves selling hardware and agricultural equipment to in-store customers while ensuring exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales, technical knowledge of hardware or agricultural tools, and a diploma-level qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing hardware and agricultural equipment based on their needs.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and provide technical advice to customers.
- Ensure the showroom is well-organized, clean, and fully stocked.
- Process transactions accurately, including handling cash and point-of-sale systems.
- Achieve sales targets and maximize revenue through excellent customer service and upselling techniques.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Participate in inventory management, including stock checks and reordering products as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to implement sales strategies and promotions.
Requirements:
- Diploma-level qualification in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in a hardware or agricultural equipment setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical knowledge of hardware and agricultural tools is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work on a rotating schedule: 5 days plus a half-day on Saturday one week, and 5 days the following week.
