Job Description:
Job Tile: Social Media Coordinator Job OverviewThe Social Media Coordinator will manage and execute engaging social media content of Value Optical Limited on all relevant platforms to increase our online presence and create brand awareness.
Job Responsibilities- Responsible for managing all social media platforms including, but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, WhatsApp, Google Ads and LinkedIn.
- Proactively monitor, capture, and respond to customer concerns through online reviews, messages, inquiries, and comments.
- Manage and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent postings that align with our overall marketing goals and objectives across all platforms.
- Monitor social media metrics regularly to measure performance e.g., audience traffic, engagement and awareness, as well as identify areas for improvement and report to key stakeholders.
- Present weekly and/or monthly social media metrics and reports as needed.
- Keep current with the latest social media trends, tools and best practices and make recommendations for optimizing our social media presence.
Qualifications / Skills
- Passion for social media and proficient with major social media platforms and social media management tools.
- 3-5 years demonstrable track record of managing campaigns, growing, and engaging audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Knowledge and competence in social media analytics with an ability to analyze and interpret data and provide insights.
- Proficient in Google Analytics Search Engine Optimization to increase website traffic and improve search engine rankings.
- Impeccable time management with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Education and Experience
- Educational background in Digital Marketing, Meta Certification Courses, Google Career Certifications, or equivalent accredited programs.
- 3 yrs or more experience with Business to Consumer (B2C) social media marketing and content development.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing will be an asset.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent digital media editing tools will be an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
