Job Description:

Job Title: Systems Administrator
 
Position Summary:  
Administers and maintains software infrastructures and applications primarily related to Microsoft Platforms. Collaborates.  Responsible for responding to application support escalations which involve troubleshooting technical issues and resolving data/configuration issues. Collaborate with multiple internal teams across groups to resolve client support escalations. Runs application testing on design programmes and provides accurate, quality analyses of the applications.
 
Primary Responsibilities

• Backup Job Verification- Veeam and Azure Site recovery
• SharePoint Library Creation & Modifications
• SharePoint Workflows Creation & Modifications
• SharePoint Site creation & Modifications
• Backup Job Verification
• Patching of Servers
• Upgrades of Servers – Reconfiguration
• Configuration and testing of Intune policies for laptops and mobile devices (Microsoft Intune and Android)
• Configuration and testing of Group Policies for laptops
• Configuration and troubleshooting of Azure Site recovery jobs
• Configuration of existing systems to meet business needs
• Troubleshooting bugs and break fix of issues
• One off upgrading and patching of systems to fix issues
• Upgrading systems to manage obsolescence
• New Server Installations and deployments
• Create and Modify tickets in the help desk system
• Engage the organization’s Change management process,
• System Documentation
• Meet with the internal Team for planning and work coordination purposes as required

 
Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field 
• Certified and Proficient in Microsoft Platforms (per the above specifications)
• Knowledge and/or certification of Veeam

Skills and Competencies

• Troubleshooting, reporting and resolution
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Systems Administrator Position
• Overall intimate working knowledge of Microsoft Systems/Cloud Based Microsoft Azure Infrastructure

 
General Information

• Two (2) year contract with a possible option to renew
• Primarily Remote Work
• Two (2) local locations
• Owning a vehicle will be an asset
