Position Title: IT Programmer / Programmer Analyst

Department: Information Technology

Division: IT & Finance

Reports To: Information Technology Manager

Division Head: Chief Financial Officer
 
POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Programmer / Programmer Analyst develops and maintains company software programs and reports that aids in daily business operations. Duties include meeting with management and personnel to determine user needs, responding to user requests to troubleshoot software problems and drafting instructional documents to help users navigate the Company’s intranet. The incumbent is required to interact with local and regional team members and vendors.

RESPONSIBILITES
  1. Design, develop, document, analyze, create, test and modify computer system programs and integrations
  2. Apply analyst techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine software or systems functional specifications.
  3. Arrange project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements, preparing a workflow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language and logic.
  4. Develop and maintain reports and databases by evaluating user needs.
  5. Develop, implement and manage action plans for each assigned project to ensure timely completion; provide regular updates for variances to plan and the required actions to close gaps.
  6. Ensure optimum usage of the system based on Company policies, procedures and standards; establish and implement corrective actions when deviations in system usage and system configurations are detected.
  7. Provide regular updates, reports or statuses on issues to the IT Manager as required
  8. Coordinate with Corporate IT for implementations, changes, upgrades and set-ups that are required to fulfill local business needs.
  9. Manage IT products and services provided by Corporate IT as well as Vendors.
  10. Protect the Company’s IT assets, including but not limited to, information, documents (electronic and printed), files, communication links, systems, software, databases, data room, hardware and network, configurations and settings, to safeguard Company's profitability, competitive advantage, jobs, reputation, customer confidence and the good relations with internal and external parties
  11. Execute all relevant responsibilities as outlined in the Roles, Responsibilities and Authorities Matrix (MT-GM-004) to ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  12. Perform any other related duties that may be assigned.
