Kaizen Environmental Services (Trinidad) Limited is hiring a Laboratory Operations Supervisor to join our Team.

Job Summary

• Sound understanding of the standard operating procedures manual, test methods manuals and all appropriate technical/operational protocols.
• Responsible for timely and proper sample receipt, sample handling, analyses, disposal and other management tasks.
• Responsible for ensuring all the essential laboratory functions are completed on a daily basis.
• Ensures effective planning, workload delegation, resource management inclusive of inventory management, procurement and personnel.
• Ensures all Quality Management System requirements as outlined in the standard operating procedures, test methods and Accreditation Standard are executed in all areas of operations.

Job Requirements:

• University degree in the field of Natural Sciences or equivalent
• Comprehensive understanding of ISO 17025 standards
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar portfolio  
• Project / Operations Management Training
• Ability to evaluate priorities and multi-task
• Ability to work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Any other relevant combination of education, experience and training would be           considered
