Position: Promoter

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Marketing Manager/Assistant Marketing Manager

Purpose of the role:
The Promoter will represent the face of the brand at promotional events, and thrive in attracting new customers.

Responsibilities:

Greet potential customers in accordance with established standards
Create a positive image, and influence potential customers
Communicate on all marketing promotions
Provide information on products/services
Interact with members of the public by distributing flyers and promotional material
Must be able to work independently and with a team environment
Should be flexible with a willing ‘can-do’ attitude
Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic as well as be self-motivated and resilient
Must enjoy interacting with Corporate clients and the general public
Will be required to work weekends and after hours

Requirements:

At least five O’Levels including Maths and English
Confident personality
Articulate, approachable and pleasant
Strong customer service, communication and social skills
Well-groomed and fashionable
Experience in promotions would be an asset
Prior working experience in a fast-paced retail environment
Computer literacy and strong Administrative abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent presentation and implementation skills

Must be self motivated and have an out-going personality
Must take pride in personal appearance and be well groomed
Must be able to think on your feet
Must be well spoken
Should be punctual and have excellent time management skills
