JOB TITLE: Senior Accountant

JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of Massy Finance GFC Ltd (MFGFC). Reporting directly to the CFO, the Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, adherence to compliance standards and providing reliable financial data to support decision-making. This role manages the day-to-day accounting functions and supports the CFO in the audit and budgeting processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Oversight • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance productivity and workflow • Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery • Supports the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting close out process • Supports the preparation of annual financial statements and the yearend process • Ensures compliance with internal controls, governance practices, and financial regulations Financial Reporting • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and performance reports • Assist in preparing accounts for Board and audit committee reviews • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports and ensuring timely submission Taxation • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of tax accounts and compliance filings • Collaborate with the CFO to implement tax efficiency strategies for the Company Audit Support • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the audit process • Address audit queries and implement recommendations to improve processes Team Collaboration • Work closely with the CFO and other finance team members to achieve departmental goals • Provide mentorship to junior accounting staff to build a strong and capable finance team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field • Professional accounting designation (ACCA, CPA) OR actively pursuing ACCA Level 3 qualification combined with eight (8) to ten (10) years’ experience in accounting or financial reporting roles, preferably within the financial services sector

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting standards (IFRS) • Experienced in reporting within the financial services industry • Familiarity with regulatory requirements impacting the financial services sector • Proficiency in accounting systems and financial reporting tools • High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality • Strong critical, analytical and reasoning ability with attention to detail • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
