Job Description:

Job Title: Financial Accountant

Open to Trinidad and Tobago Nationals

Job Summary:
We are actively seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for monitoring all financial data, preparing accurate statements, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, performing internal audits, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements). Organize internal audits
• Monitor and report  on accounting discrepancies
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes
• Coordinating and assisting in internal and external audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
• In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
• Solid knowledge of accounting regulations Excellent math skills with an attention to detail Time-management abilities
• Confidentiality
• BSc degree in Accounting,
• Additional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
