Job Description:

A Leading Information Technology Company is seeking applicants for the position of:

CyberSecurity & Networking Technician
 
Position Summary:  
Provides support with respect to the evaluation of Security Solutions by providing information with respect to Security Policies and responding to customer requests for resolution with phishing, malware, breaches and other security incidents.
 
Primary Responsibilities

• Safeguard company data by implementing protective measures, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to breaches swiftly.
• Network monitoring, risk assessments, and developing security protocols.
• Checking for susceptibility, detecting Security Issues and inspecting Security Risk
• Troubleshooting security issues and providing solutions.
• Analyze, research, and arrive at the most reliable security solutions for customers.
• Maintain computer networks including mainframes, VPNs, routers and other physical hardware, and monitor computer systems to improve network performance for all systems.
• Install and configure network equipment, create firewalls and update virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected.
• Implementing disaster recovery procedures.

 
Education and Experience

• B.Sc. in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Cisco Certified Network Association (CCNA) and Comptia Network+.
• At least 2+ years’ experience working in the Networking Security space.
• Knowledge of technology infrastructures, using Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy and Security Audits.
• Python, SQL, Java Script and HTML will be an asset

• Must be highly detail oriented and organized.

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience
