Job Description:

A Leading Information Technology Company is seeking applicants for the position of:

Accountant

Position Summary:
To assist the Finance Function as it relates to the Accounting, Budgeting, Auditing and Logistic Management function of the organization and provide support to the Chief Financial Officer by ensuring all financial information, including Annual Financial Statements and Management Reports present a true and fair view of the organization’s financial status

Primary Responsibilities

Ensure all data is entered in the accounting software accurately and in a timely manner.
Resolve/Reconcile any discrepancies or irregularities found in records, statements, or documented transactions.
Prepare and enter all monthly journals in a timely manner to ensure financial reports are submitted as per deadlines.
Ensure statutory payments and filings are submitted on time to ensure no penalties and interest are incurred.
Ensure bank and general ledger reconciliations are performed in a timely manner.
Coordinate all activities related to the external financial audit.
Ensure adherence to all financial policies and processes of The Company.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance or ACCA qualified
At least Three-Five (3-5) years’ experience in a medium size enterprise
Knowledge of Great Plains
Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Applications-Microsoft Excel
Experience with Audits

Must be accurate in recording information
