Job Title: Distribution Team Lead

Job Summary:
The Distribution Team Lead will oversee the daily operations of the distribution team, ensuring efficient and accurate delivery of beverages to customers. This role is responsible for managing the dispatching, loading, and transportation processes while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and customer service expectations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate distribution activities, including order processing, routing, dispatching, and delivery.
• Lead a team of drivers, providing direction, training, and performance management.
• Monitor and optimize distribution routes to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and delivery performance.
• Address and resolve any distribution or delivery issues promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, warehouse, and customer service to ensure smooth operations.
• Analyze distribution data and generate reports to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Assist in fleet management, including vehicle maintenance and fuel efficiency monitoring.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to distribution and transportation.
• Valid driver’s license and knowledge of local delivery routes.
