Job Description:

Position Summary:  responsible for overseeing and maintaining the organization’s Computer Networks,  personnel and daily operations within the IT Department, including creating job posts, interviewing and hiring qualified candidates, relaying information between upper management and department employees and managing the department budget.


Primary Responsibilities

• Creating strategies for upgrading the Company’s network software/hardware whenever a new update is available.
• Working with the relevant teams to craft solutions for customers.
• Developing new network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs
• Constructing and implementing plans to ensure the company’s network continues to operate smoothly in the event of a problem
• Staying up to date with new network technology and reporting this information to the executive team
• Working closely with other department Managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company’s network

Education and Experience

• B.Sc in Information Technology or MBA is desirable.
• At least (3-5) years’ experience working in a similar senior position.
• Project Management Certification and/or experience will be an asset.
• Expert knowledge of IT best practices, policies and regulations.
• A clear understanding of client/server technology and network architecture.

Skills & Competencies

• In depth understanding of programming, computer science and digital security.
• Effective communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Must be highly detail oriented and organized.

 

Job Requirements:
