Job Description:
Position : Client Associate
Reporting Relationship : Team Leads / Commercial Manager
Job Summary :To provide support to the Manager and Team Leads contributing to the effective administration of assigned insurance portfolio; to build the portfolio, renewing existing business to maintain prescribed targets; liaising with Insurers, clients and financial institutions, and providing customer service excellence.
Main Job Functions:- Transact business under assigned Motor / HOC Binders ensuring that all cover is in compliance with agreed terms and conditions o Verify, approve and signs Binder documentation. o Prepare Bordereaux to insurers
- Obtain/Negotiate competitive quotations/terms for new/renewed insurance coverage and assist in completion of proposal / quotation form.
- Follow up with clients on renewal of policies, in order to maintain existing business and generate new business (cross selling). Retrieves files, prepares and dispatches renewal notices. Data Entry on EPIC creating new files and updating existing client records.
- Receives payment from clients using Linx and Visa and issues receipts to client to ensure accuracy of records.
- Reconcile payment and bank summary to ensure all transactions balance with payments received for banking by Accounts Receivable – Finance Department.
- Provide administrative support to Manager/Team Leads/ Account Executives and service to clients, insurers and Financial Institutions.
- Perform additional duties of a similar nature from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Two (2) A Levels.
- Certificate in Insurance Studies/Business Management Studies.
- Three (3) to five (5) years working experience in Insurance/Brokerage.
- Sound Knowledge of the Elements of Insurance and respective Insurance legislation
