JOB PURPOSE / SUMMARY Directs and oversees MBC’s retail operations across its stores and teams. Implements policies and procedures that increase operational effectiveness and maximize long term store performance. Being a Director Retail Sales & Marketing Store Operations is responsible for to increase profits and make recommendations for operational improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Providing leadership and guidance to all MBC’s retail stores in order to ensure that each store functions efficiently.
- Creating a Company culture that promotes customer service and satisfaction in all aspects of the business.
- Managing human resources functions such as recruiting, disciplinary, conflict resolution, queries and other related duties.
- Developing strategies to increase store traffic and sales.
- Identifying opportunities to improve operations by studying industry trends and customer preferences.
- Ensuring inventory management, including restocking shelves and arranging special orders with suppliers are completed with each store’s KPIs to maximize profitability and capital management.
- Developing marketing plans to promote products and services offered by the Company.
- Measuring performance against predetermined goals and objectives to ensure that all objectives are achieved.
- Planning and managing budgets to ensure that costs are within budgets and generating the required targets ROIs for each expense.
- Manages team to strive for creating an inspirational, growth-enabled environment for staff and develop strategies to provide coaching to assistant managers to foster positive Company philosophy.
- Develop and ensure that strategies for loss prevention are implemented and maintained.
- Responsible for identifying training needs, designing and delivering training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness to ensure employees' growth to align with company goals.
- Communicate to effectively handle activities.
- Develop pricing models based on data to ensure it reflects on market conditions
Job Requirements:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - BSc Business Administration, Marketing, ICT or relevant field
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in retail sales, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven expertise in overseeing multi-brands retail operations and leading large teams (30+ employees).
