JOB TITLE: MARKETING LEAD 
 
PURPOSE OF THE JOB      
The Marketing Lead is responsible for creating and executing the company’s marketing strategy, managing and coordinating marketing activities and overseeing all marketing operations. The Marketing Lead will also be tasked with developing and maintaining relationships with customers, partners and other stakeholders, as well as ensuring the timely delivery of marketing materials and campaigns.
 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 
Strategic Planning
  1. Develop marketing strategies to meet the company’s strategic goals and objectives of increasing revenue and profits, achieving greater visibility and improving IFL’s appearance. It involves identifying the current situation, analysing its opportunities and threats and mapping out the marketing action plans for implementation.
 
Communication
  1. Crafting compelling and relevant content for effective communication.
  2. Ensure communication of all information is in a clear and engaging manner to all stakeholders.
  3. Address customer concerns promptly and use the feedback to improve products and services.
 
Market Research
  1. Create detailed customer personas to understand the target audience by gathering data on demographics, behaviors and preferences to tailor market strategies to the specific needs of the customer base and present data to the Management team.
  2. Provide competitor analysis feedback bi-monthly by regularly analyzing their strategies, identifying areas of competitive advantage, and proposing ideas to differentiate IFL’s brand effectively.
  3. Maintain relevant trend identification for our industry by researching and identifying emerging technologies to ensure the company’s strategies are always current, relevant and successfully positioned for the its future.
 
Brand Management
  1. Ensure the company’s branding, imagery, communication, logo etc. are coordinated consistently across various channels to ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints for building trust and recognition. Present guidelines and oversee the implementation process through success continuously.
  2. Build and enhance the group's brand equity by creating positive associations and emotional connections with the brand.  
 
Campaign Management
  1. Coordinate campaigns across various channels to ensure a unified brand experience within the company sales, financials, public relations and production deliverables.
  2. Set key performance indicators (KPI’s) by regularly monitoring campaign performance through data analysis with continuous improvement plans.
 
Digital Marketing
  1. Optimize our content search engines to ensure our brand and company’s reputation are easily discoverable online, this can also involve managing paid search campaigns.
  2. Build strong social media strategies, create engaging content and leverage platforms to foster brand loyalty.
  3. Implement email and social media marketing automation tools to streamline communication efforts to all stakeholders.  
 
Budget Management
  1. Evaluate the Return on Investment (ROI) for each marketing initiative as required. This entails assessing the cost effectiveness of campaigns and allocation of resources to strategies to yield the highest ROI.
  2. Coordinate with each department and associated company before the start of each month to establish marketing program and spend.
  3. Constantly track budgeted allocations with expenses keeping each manager informed of their current spend and any cost overruns which must be approved by the Director and tied to measurable returns.
