Job Description:

Job Title: Morning Dispatcher

Basic Objective:
The position holder is responsible for ensuring that all trucks are properly packed and assigned to various location throughout Trinidad and Tobago to ensure the timely delivery to customers.

Responsibilities:        

• Must be able to treat with difficult customers and possesses excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to meet tight deadlines.
• Must be able to organise, administrate and prioritize tasks.
• Must be knowledgeable of the geographics of the Trinidad and Tobago landscape.
• Must be able to manage a wide demographic staff.
• Must be knowledgeable of the loading sequences of goods within the various sizes of trucks.
• Must be able to ensure that the company trucks meet and pass inspection standards.
• Must be able to keep good records.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a medical examination and drug test.
• At least two (2) years’ experience in the manufacturing industry would be considered an asset.
• At least two (2) years’ experience in loading goods on various trucks
• Must have five (5) CXC subject inclusive of maths and English.
• A Police Certificate of Character
• Ability and willingness to work overtime.
• A Forklift Driving Certificate will be considered an asset.
