ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE MANAGER
 
Summary:
The Accounting and Finance Manager reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and has overall responsibility for financial management, accounting, reporting and risk management.  The incumbent directly responsible for the strategies to deliver the finance KPI’s whilst ensuring effective and efficient management of the daily operations of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with the CFO and Senior Management  in providing strategic financial recommendations.
  2. Implement financial and accounting strategies.
  3. Ensure accurate and timely financial reports.
  4. Support the Audit process.
  5. Undertake risk assessments and implement risk management controls.
  6. Develop and maintain internal control systems.
  7. Oversee and monitor cash flow
  8. Coordinate budgeting and advise on cost reduction initiatives.
  9. Effective management of persons towards the creation of a high performing motivated team.
 
Education, Qualification and Experience:
  • ACCA, FCCA Qualification or equivalent
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Five (5) Years’ experience as an Accountant or similar level with 10 years progressive experience in the field.
  • Demonstrated experience with overseeing internal audits, inventory management, creating financial statements and month-end close process.
  • Knowledge and use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software product.
