DESCRIPTION
Kaizen Environmental Services (Trinidad) Limited is seeking to hire an Electromechanical Technician for our Enviroproducts Division.
 
ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 
The Electromechanical Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to: optimizing the performance of mechanical products, machinery, and equipment. To assist the mechanical/electrical engineer to design, develop, test, and manufacture tools, engines, machines, and other devices. Provide sketches and rough layouts, record and analyse data, and report findings.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Troubleshoot Electromechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as perform repairs.
  • Ensure high level technical support to technicians and/or equipment operators.
  • Show expertise in working with team and independently.
  • Ability to read Electromechanical drawings and develop same for designs.
  • Repair and perform (PM) preventive maintenance as per established standards.
  • Install and perform diagnostic tests on Electromechanical systems.
  • Develop and implement Electromechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
  • Document processes and maintain Electromechanical service records.
  • Comply with company safety guidelines and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a related industry.
  • A diploma in MEEET or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical/electrical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Proficient in Electromechanical design and diagnostic testing software.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Great organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Willing to perform Electromechanical maintenance and repairs outside of business hours.
  • Must be computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Ability to meet deadlines
