Description

• Assist the Supervisor – Proposals and Technical in all activities related to preparation of quotations and support to the Sales Department or others including costing and proposals, and compilation of tender documents where necessary.
• Responsible for timely processing of enquiries and preparation of quotations using the NetSuite system including enquiries, worksheets, proposals, Customer Manager, etc.
• Assist with the processing of sales orders and reviews based on customer orders received. 
• Assist the Supervisor – Proposals and Technical with customer telephone and over the counter inquiries which includes pricing, discounts, and quotations.
• Update assigned Reports on a weekly basis ensuring that all data is accurate and up to date.
• Attend required department or other company meetings ensuring that all assigned action items are addressed adequately and in a timely manner. 
• Assist with filing of relevant correspondence as well as close off and open new files as is required and at year-end.
• Assist in ensuring that technical literature, distributor letters and sales brochures are current and available.
• Attending scheduled in-house training and seminars to acquire and improve product knowledge. 
• Provide administrative support as and when required.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current Company procedures and Policies, particularly, as they relate to the Company’s Quality Management System and EHS procedures.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

• Degree in Engineering or Business Management
• Excellent communication skills
• Good leadership qualities
• Proficiency in the use of a computer, particularly project management software
• Team Player
• Experience operating within the Company’s Quality Management System and EHS procedures.
• Valid driver’s permit
• At least two (2) to three(3) years’ experience in a similar position
