Job Summary: The IT Systems Analyst / Administrator operates in a team-driven support focused environment where creativity is encouraged. The primary job responsibilities include installation, configuration and support of the above-store technologies and systems that drive the business operations. The role also includes the design and support of advanced Network connectivity and IT infrastructure technologies and provides project support. The role is also responsible for working with internal Teams and external service providers to identify opportunities and the end-to-end delivery of the technology-driven solutions once approved by the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Technical Support: Provide technical support for both above-store and in-store IT systems and infrastructure, handling escalated issues.
• System Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• System Evaluation and Upgrades: Evaluate existing IT systems and perform necessary upgrades, integrations, and customizations.
• External IT Support: Collaborate with external IT service providers to support IT-related equipment and services.
• Interactive IT Presence: Ensure an active IT presence within the company, completing helpdesk tasks and escalating requests for resolution and approval as needed.
• Project Management: Act as the primary contact and be accountable for assigned IT projects.
• Monitoring & Evaluation: Monitor network traffic and security systems to detect and respond to system performance and cybersecurity issues.
• Documentation: Develop and implement IT policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Training: Conduct security awareness training for employees to ensure they understand and follow security best practices.
• Compliance Enforcement: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Security Tools: Manage and maintain security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems (IDS) etc.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on IT outages, cybersecurity incidents, vulnerabilities, and risk assessment exercises.
• Collaboration: Partner with IT and other departments to implement business improvement measures and foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness
