JOB OVERVIEW:
The Manager Digital Marketing and Communication is a strategic thinker and hands-on professional who will play a key role in shaping and executing the Group's digital marketing strategies. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing high-impact campaigns across various digital channels both regionally.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  1. Develop, manage and execute comprehensive digital marketing and communication plans aligned with the Group's overall objectives and goals.
  2. Create and manage digital marketing and communication guidelines, messaging frameworks, and visual identity standards to ensure consistency across all regional communications channels.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Group Marketing and Communication and other internal stakeholders, to develop compelling content, materials, and collateral to support digital marketing and communication initiatives.
  4. Oversee the management of regional and business unit digital marketing and communication activities to enhance brand visibility and engagement on various digital channels including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing and display advertising.
  5. Oversee social media strategy, scheduling, and content creation to build and engage our online community and collaborate with the content team to ensure website and blog content is optimised for SEO and aligned with marketing objectives.
  6. Develop and oversee influencer and affiliate marketing programmes to enhance brand visibility and reach.
  7. Monitor and analyse regional and local market trends, competitive landscape, and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities and risks for the brand in the digital landscape.
  8. Develop and manage regional digital channels, including social media, websites, email marketing, and intranet platforms, to effectively reach target audiences.
  9. Measure and report on the effectiveness of regional and business unit digital marketing and communication initiatives, using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress and inform strategy.
  10. Manage the digital marketing and communication budget, allocating resources effectively across channels to achieve campaign goals.
  11. Track spending, monitor return on investment (ROI), and provide financial reporting to senior leadership.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Branding or a related field from a recognised tertiary level educational institution.
  • Master’s in marketing, Communications or Branding or a related degree with specialisations in Marketing, Communications or Branding from a recognised tertiary level education institution
  • Certification in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or HubSpot.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in a branding, marketing and communications role, with at least five (5) years in a managerial/leadership capacity.
  • At least three years’ experience in a digital communications (or equivalent) role


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:
  • As a regulated entity with obligations under the Know Your Employee guidelines, a Certificate of Character is required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: 
The Manager, Digital Marketing and Communication must have a strong sense and experience in branding and communication, with concentration in digital strategy. He/She must understand how to influence, pivot and make decisions with agility. He/She must be able to lead, influence and mobilise teams across territories and business units, not under direct remit. He/She must be able to work in a fast-moving environment and manage deliverables according to plans. He/She must exhibit clear leadership qualities.  This individual must always be acutely aware of changes in the market and industry. He/she must be able to effectively manage time and resources and hone critical thinking skills in supporting members to achieve stated objectives. The individual must be willing to work flexible hours when deadlines need to be met. He/she must be an active listener, clear communicator and must be proactive.  Must possess a Strong ability to generate innovative ideas and design engaging marketing materials.
