Description
Job Purpose: This role involves assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department and data entry.
Job Summary:
The Accounting clerk is responsible for maintaining the reports, monitoring customer overdue balances and assisting data entry.
Job Description:
- Apply customer payments to manifest generated invoices using our ERP system.
- Prepare and distribute customer statements.
- Review and issue statements to customers using ERP system.
- Handle respective related queries.
- Diligently pursue collection of overdue customer balances to ensure within credit terms.
- Review and verify data entry for shipments and generate Invoices using ERP system.
- Call customers for past due invoices.
- Other duties as required by function.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- CA Certification or a related business degree.
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ accounting related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and inventory management systems.
