About the role   

We are seeking a Qualified Accountant experienced in Engineering/ Construction industries, as the role is relative to Contract type Accounting.

Key responsibilities of the Accountant shall include amongst other duties:

·      Supervision and management of Accounting staff

·      Financial Planning & Strategy making

·       Budget Management & Cost Control

·       Cash Flow & Liquidity Management

·       Project Financing & Investment Decisions

·       Accounting & Financial Reporting

·       Risk Management & Regulatory Compliance

·       Stakeholder Coordination & Communication

·       Monthly Management accounts

·       Tax preparation

·       Reviewing financial records to verify accuracy and identify potential issues

Experience and qualifications    

·       Full ACCA Certification

·       Minimum of ten (10) years accounting experience

·       Minimum of five (5) years at Supervisory Level

·       Knowledge and experience in contract accounting (Engineering/Construction fields) is mandatory

·       Accounting Software experience (Quickbooks preferred)

·       Strong analytical skills

·       Strong problem resolution skills

·       Strong Inter-personal and communication skills
