JOB OVERVIEW

To ensure exemplary standards in respect of the cleaning service provided to the client and customer care to the public are delivered at all times. Fellow colleagues are supported and assisted so that team work thrives on site.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To report to the Head Office on a daily basis and report to the Cleaning Manager on the status of the site at the end of each shift.

• To ensure all cleaning duties are carried out in a correct and timely manner in respect to client specified requirements. Conduct quality audits in accordance with ISO9001:2000 ensuring any corrective actions are rectified within agreed timescales. Complete and submit all checklists, audit forms and inspection reports to the cleaning Manager as required.

• To ensure all staff on site are fully trained and adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations in respect of accident prevention, identifying hazards, fire regulations, manual handling and safe working practices.

• To ensure the maintenance and care of all equipment ensuring all machines are maintained in a clean, safe working condition and reporting any faulty equipment. To ensure the work area/janitor’s closet is kept clean, neat and tidy at all times.

• To ensure adequate cover on site escalating recruitment requirements when appropriate. 

• To lead by example, so that the company image and profile is maintained at all times within the team, in respect of conduct and the wearing of company supplied uniform. 

• The distribution of stores ensuring that correct documentation is completed and signed by both parties and submitted to the Cleaning Manager.

• To comply with all Company Health & Safety Guidelines and continually review practices to ensure that all accidents and incidents are reported and breaches do not occur. 

• To be aware of the correct usage and concentration of the various chemicals cleaning agents and the correct application of these products to ensure effective results in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines.

• To liaise with the Cleaning Manager and Project Crew Supervisor to schedule all Project work to be done and providing these schedules in the timeframes outlined by the Client. To support the Project Crew and be available if needed with programmed project works to ensure they are carried out to agreed timelines.

• To be responsible for the company vehicle submitting the relevant forms and reports within the required timeframes. Assist with transporting staff to various sites as required.  To ensure the vehicle is maintained, kept clean and tidy at all times and to immediately report any accidents to the Cleaning Manager.

• To carry out any reasonable task requested by the Cleaning Manager.

• To act as ambassador for Europa on site dealing in a professional/businesslike manner with all requests from clients

• To support and coach all staff in day-to-day operations and process sick/holiday entitlements as appropriate. Summarise time sheets for pay purposes.  

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5  Years experience in an Auditing Role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Competent report writing
  • Ability to get on well with others and inspire respect and confidence 
  • Sound Knowledge of Health and Safety
