Job Summary

The AMPP Basic Coatings Inspector is responsible for inspecting and verifying surface preparation and coating application activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and industry standards. The role requires accurate inspection reporting and close collaboration with maintenance and operational teams to support asset integrity objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years' experience as a Coatings Inspector.

• Training and practical experience in painting and surface preparation standards for 3-coat epoxy paint systems.

• Current AMPP Basic Coatings Inspector certification.

• Working knowledge of coating inspection methods, testing equipment, and quality control procedures.

• Experience within the oil and gas industry is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail, report-writing, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of applicable HSE requirements and industry standards.

• Valid TBOSIET and OEUK medical would be considered an asset.
