Job Title: Condition Monitoring Analyst II 

Department: Maintenance, Turnarounds & Campaigns

Job Purpose:

The Condition Monitoring Analyst II is responsible for the improvement of equipment and overall facility reliability and asset integrity through equipment condition monitoring and evaluation techniques. Change in working hours may be required during emergencies, upgrades, shutdowns/turnaround situations. Work is conducted both in an office and plant environment.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Ensures that all Predictive Maintenance (PdM) routes (rotating equipment) are carried out to pre-determined schedules and that accurate data is collected.
  • Supports the development of Quality Control plans to cover all repairs, overhauls, new construction and modifications across the facility ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Ensures all Predictive Maintenance (PdM) jobs are closed off in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with appropriate completion comments for updates to Maintenance Scorecard in accordance with agreed timelines.

Knowledge and Experience

  • A Technician’s Diploma in an Engineering discipline from a recognised, accredited institution.
  • Certification as Category II Vibration Analyst from a recognised, accredited institution.
  • Certification as Level I Infrared Thermographer from a recognised, accredited institution
  • A minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in a condition monitoring / predictive maintenance environment, two (2) of which must be post certification.
  • Knowledge of the following areas: The design, operation and maintenance of equipment and systems; Plant maintenance philosophies; Equipment Condition Monitoring; Reliability Cantered Maintenance; Root Cause Failure Analysis and Investigations; Inspection & Testing; Maintenance and Operations; Quality Assurance and Quality Control; Application of Industrial Codes
