A leading Collective Management Organisation (CMO) in Trinidad and Tobago invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Corporate Secretary.

Position Overview:
The Corporate Secretary will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, providing governance advice to the Board of Directors, and managing all corporate records and meetings in accordance with best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
· Advise the Board of Directors on corporate governance matters.

· Prepare and circulate agendas, notices, and minutes for Board and Committee meetings.

· Maintain the organisation’s statutory registers and corporate records.

· Ensure timely filings with the Companies Registry and other relevant authorities.

· Draft and review contracts, agreements, and corporate documents.

· Liaise with stakeholders, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field (LLB/Legal qualification would be an asset).

· Chartered Secretary/Corporate Governance certification preferred.

· Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a corporate or not-for-profit environment.

· Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, corporate governance principles, and compliance requirements.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· High level of discretion, integrity, and attention to detail.
