Key Responsibilities:

·        Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including billing, collections, and account monitoring

·        Communicate with Customers via phone, email or mail, follow up on and                     collect and allocate payment.

·        Performs data entry relating to employee hours, purchase invoices, payment vouchers, and general ledger vouchers.

·        Conducts audits of sales transaction sequencing (invoicing and receipts) and performs random checks on pricing and invoices.

·        Alerts the Accountant regarding customers who have exceeded credit terms.

·        Perform all bank and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies

·        Prepare and submit weekly and monthly management reports to the Accounting team and CEO

·        Prepare necessary credit notes and debit notes arising out of sales with necessary supporting documentation

·        Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficiency and accuracy of financial data

·        Follows up with credit customers regarding overdue payments.

·        Complies with all company policies, procedures, and rules.

·        Performs any other duties required for the effective execution of the role.

 

Credentials & Requirements:

·        ACCA (completed or in progress) is required. Minimum CXC with accounts.

·        Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role

·        Strong experience in reconciliations, reporting, and AR functions

·        Knowledge of MS Dynamics Accounting software would be an asset.

·        Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFR’s) and the Withholding Tax (WHT).

·        Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills

·        Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

·        High level of accuracy and attention to detail

·        Police Certificate of Character
