Kaizen Environmental Services (Trinidad) Limited is seeking to hire a Destruction Services Coordinator for its Destruction Services Section of the Waste Services Division.

The Destruction Services Section is responsible for all incineration operations associated with the KAIZEN Waste Treatment Facility located on the LABIDCO Estate, La Brea Trinidad.

IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:

• An Associate degree in physics, engineering or associated earth science degree.
• A minimum of three years' experience as a Coordinator or Supervisor.
• Knowledge of waste management and the operation of waste incinerators.
• Good analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• A willingness to perform duties outside of normal working hours.

·      Computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint;

·       Ability to commit to and meet deadlines

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Coordinate and Supervise Team Leaders and other work Teams.

·       Supervise and execute incineration operations.

·       Equipment maintenance performed as per the KAIZEN Maintenance Program

·       Maintains complete and accurate logs and records.

·       Timely submission of ALL reports and work logs.

·       Management of waste inventory allocated to Destruction Services.

·       Review of documented shift handover for adequacy and operational continuity.

·       Overall accountability for housekeeping in area designated for Destruction Services.

·       Compliance with Company Policy and Procedures.

·       Immediate reporting of any incidents and/or equipment failure.
