This position will support the Fire Response Products and Services Department through a combination of customer site inspection work and in-house service bay support.

·       Perform inspections, testing, repairs, and recertification on all current and future emergency response/firefighting equipment.

·       Prepare documentation including inspection reports, test certificates, evaluation/condition assessment reports, deficiency lists, and repair recommendations.

·       Diagnose faults, identify defects/non-conformances, and carry out in-house repairs or refurbishment.

·       Assist with inventory and control of parts, consumables, tags/labels, and assigned assets; ensure traceability of parts used on repairs where required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  •        3+ years’ relevant work experience in inspection, testing, maintenance, or repair of mechanical equipment.
  •        Technical/Vocation training in Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance or similar field.
  •        Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  •        Proficient in Technical report writing, with experience required.
  •        Basic understanding in electricals would be an asset.
  •        Valid driver’s license
