Finance and Administrative Associate

Job Description
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Finance and Administrative Associate to support accounts payable, cash and banking activities, insurance administration, and general office maintenance. The role ensures accurate financial records, timely processing, and effective administrative support within the Finance and Administration Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable transactions, including invoices, credit cards, and petty cash in Xero
  • Generate purchase orders and maintain supporting documentation
  • Update and reconcile bank and petty cash accounts; prepare cheques and vouchers
  • Assist with cash flow tracking and month‑end close activities
  • Support insurance administration, renewals, and record‑keeping
  • Maintain finance files on SharePoint and assist with statutory filings (NIB, BIR)
  • Support basic office maintenance and administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5 years’ experience in an accounts payable or finance support role
  • Working knowledge of Xero or similar accounting software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time‑management skills
