POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Human Resource Coordinator

 

DEPARTMENT:  Head Office

POSITION PURPOSE AND SCOPE

 

The Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for the management and coordination of the HR function in accordance with the Company’s Human Resource policies and procedures.

I. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

i. Manage day-to-day human resource management and administrative functions;

ii. Manage recruitment process including internal posting of open positions, external solicitation for candidates, interview scheduling, background check processing and completion of new hire paperwork;

iii. Maintain up-to-date recruitment progress report, talent database and all related staffing communication;

iv. Branch and Crew Scheduling on a weekly basis for each branch;

v. Monitoring of attendance and punctuality for all branches and provision of monthly attendance reports;

vi. Assist team members in goal setting, scheduling and skill development;

vii. Provide training and coaching to all team members ensuring that they complete the obligatory Focus Brand Quiz and obtain a pass mark of eighty percent and over; 

viii. Manage orientation program for employees;

ix. Maintaining all personnel files;

x. Review time sheets and submit payroll information for all staff for payroll processing;

xi. Conduct exit and grievance interviews with all departments/staffs;

xii. Assist with manpower analysis such as turnover, absenteeism, and employee surveys;

xiii. Assist with Performance Management activities;

xiv. Updating and maintenance of employee files.

III. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

i. At least five (5) years experience in a senior position in Human Resources; 

ii. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management;

iii. Experience in food service and/or retail environment would be an asset.
